1.  Open Documents by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Documents.

2.  Click the arrow next to Folders at the bottom of the left pane.

3.  In the Folders list, open the folder that contained the file or folder that was deleted or renamed.

4.  Right-click somewhere in the folder (without selecting a file or folder), and then click Restore previous versions.

5.   Double-click a previous version of the folder that contains the file or folder you want to restore. (For example, if a file was deleted today, choose a version of the folder    from yesterday, which should contain the file.)

6.  In the folder, drag the file or folder that you want to restore to another location, such as your desktop or another folder.

 

The version of the file or folder is saved to the location that you selected.

To change your computer login password:

  • Login to your computer with current username and password.
  • Once in, hit the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys all at the same time.
  • A window will open and one of the choices will be to Change password.

If you can’t find Internet Explorer try this:

Start, All Programs, Internet Explorer. Once you open it the first time, it will appear on your Start Menu when you first click on it.

Scanning:

At Scanner hit the Scan button, then on the screen press the Folder tab.  Underneath that you will see the word Scanning.  Press that then hit the Start button.

Your documents will be located out on I:\Scanners\(folder  name for specific copier)

  1. Click on Start, Devices and Printers, right click on the copier and choose Printing Preferences.
  2. Under Job Type, choose Stored Print.
  3. Click on the details tab and choose a username and, if you want, a generic document name and password.
  4. Click OK to get out of the details tab, then click Apply and OK.  The printer is now set to store your print job instead of automatically printing it out and interrupting someone’s copying.

From this point on, when you want to print to the Copier

  1. When you are in the document you want to print, choose File, Print and then choose the copier.  Select the number of copies and settings as usual.
  2. Go to the Copier, touch Printer, Print Jobs tab, then your ID.
  3. Touch your username on the screen, then touch Print, (if you created a password above, it will prompt you for it now) then Print again.
  4. When you no longer need the document saved to the copier, please delete it by touching the document and choosing delete.
