Distance Learning is the process of using video conferencing equipment to enable two way communication between our classroom(s) and a) content providers; b) other buildings/classrooms within our district; c) other classrooms at other school districts around the country and around the world. These can be collaborative endeavors or lecture format, but most often are used where physical field trips are impracticle, impossible, or cost prohibitive.

There are events available for every grade level, almost every subject and for every season.  The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC) is a great resource to find content. [Note: As of the 2014-15 school year, CILC now requires you create an account and login to view the online catalog. Requesting an event still utilizes our own request form.]

After you find the content, you will need to copy/paste some information to our form:  ONLINE FORM . We will then take care of getting it scheduled. Please complete ALL information requested down to the line that says *-TECHNOLOGY use below this point.-*. Do NOT put a $ in the cost entry, just the numbers.

Note: You do NOT need to login or signin. Just click the Distance Learning Request title (in green) and the form will appear for you to fill in.

Click on the links listing the months for a list of popular event options.  The holiday programs fill up quickly, so if you are interested in an event, place a request as soon as possible!
