
The Perry Meridian Fiddle Group began practices for the spring semester. New 6th graders auditioned and have been added to the group. In this photo are the students from PMA, PMMS, and PMHS at a recent rehearsal. Look for this group at upcoming spring orchestra performances.

Preschoolers Take Virtual Fieldtrip to the Zoo
Preschoolers at the Early Childhood Academy “visited” the Indianapolis Zoo via distance learning (a video conference connection). Students learned about the diet, habitat, environment and physical characteristics of brown bears. In addition, a zookeeper read the book, Bear Snores On, by Karma Wilson to the students.

Tablet Pilot Program Begins at Perry 6th Grade Academy

Dean Gorrell of Verona Area School District Visits SMS

Winchester Village Hosts Breakfast for EL Parents

Members of the Indianapolis Colts organization visited Southport Middle School for a Fitness Camp. In correlation with the NFL’s Play 60 campaign, students at SMS learned about the benefits of exercise along with some simple and fun exercise routines during their PE classes.
